The Super Car Show featured a ‘Show and
Shine’ event for participants with 40 plaques presented to the top 20
in each class of: 1980 and
Older, and 1981 and Newer; as well as, 16 trophies for the following:
For Registered Show Participants: Three Burn-Out competitions trophies sponsored by Auto Accessory Zone and Van Hemmen Tires, both of Whitby were presented for: 1980 & Older, 1981 & Newer, and Commercial or Sponsored winners. The winners of the first two classes also received $200 each towards the purchase of new tires. Super Car Show 2007; 60' & 70's Entertainment was provided by Super Car Cruisers Band, with the best music of the BeachBoys. Proceeds from the event were for the Grandview Children's Centre in Oshawa. |

For 2007, the Fourth Annual Super Car Show and the First Annual Super Car Cruise was combined and marketed as: The Super Car Weekend and presented by Oshawa's Oldies, CKDO. The Super Car Show was held at Mosport on Saturday and The Super Car Cruise was held in Oshawa on Sunday, culminating with the Super Car Tribute Concert on Sunday at the Jubilee Pavilion. The Super Car Weekend for 2007 promoted the original North American Auto Makers; General Motors, Ford and Chrysler; its Auto Parts Suppliers, Services, Dealers and the Canadian and United Auto Workers who assemble quality world class vehicles. The two classes were: 1980 & Older and 1981 & Newer being; Classics, Antiques, Historic, Grand Touring, Super, Sports, Convertibles, Coupes, Race Cars, Hot Rods, Street Rods, Muscle, Modified, Customized, Enviro-Future-Tech, Concept and Special Interest vehicles. |
